    Looks like you’ve been busy.

  • Never a dull moment Bailey 🙂

  • So cute! How much longer for the water therapy? Or is it “continuous maintenance”?

  • Cathy C Bennett

It’s hard for me to determine if you’re having a good time. I’m gonna go with “yes”

  • He really enjoys it, Cathy, I promise you. He gets excited when we ask him if he wants to go swimming. And this is a dog that wouldn’t go in water unless I went in with him. He actually wags his tail most of our sessions. So we do it now because it’s easy on his joints, plus, bonus, he loves it. 🙂

  • We’ve got the go ahead to stop at the beginning of September BUT he’s getting arthritis in his back end so the zero impact on his joints is ideal exercise for him, he’s stronger than he was before surveys and bonus, he actually enjoys going. And for the amount of times we go, we get an unlimited pass and it works out to be about $17 per session. So as long as he’s benefitting from it and loving it, why stop?! Plus, with our garbage winters, it’s not a bad idea. I’m actually toying with getting Baxter assessed and getting him into the “fitness program” but I’m slightly ever so hesitant because I’d be pissed off if I found out he too needed surgery on something or another… We’ll see. Baxter is a far heartier/sturdier version of Charlie, whereas Charlie is a bit dainty and delicate. 🙂

  • These photos make me melt. Love!!!! On any bad day I will come back and look at these and more so I can smile again. Sooooo cute. He’s so brave.

  • Charlie is the best!! He’d be great for you because he feels for you if you’re upset. A friend of mines few years ago was divorcing her husband and in rough spirits and He was the best therapy for her. I can’t be mad for long when I have these two trying to cheer up or distract me from a crap mood. <3

  • I was going to ask this same question. 🙂 Go Charlie!!!

  • It’s a cute little fur ball. Best in the world, no comparison to selfish cats. I just lost one of mine the other day. She was 12 years old and had developed a tumor. She was my diva.

  • Yep, we still do it because he likes it. Literally gets excited and bounces out the door when we leave to go. Sometimes we just mouth the words swimming and he’ll run and sit by the door. 🙂

  • Thanks Mary. I’m so sorry for your loss. It must be a big void in the household. Diva and being selfish aside, im sure you loved her dearly and miss her terribly. Poor girl, 12 is young for a cat, too.

He is just adorable! I love pets so much. We have 2 dogs and one cat now. Used to have 4 dogs. Lost one just a couple weeks ago. It’s so heartbreaking. And I want to thank you for commenting on my post, 20 Proven Blogging Tips. Following you now on some places, Pinterest of mne is jody53.

  • Aw thanks Jody. I’m so sorry forgive loss. It is always such an incredible void when one of them leaves us, eh? My heart goes out to you xox.

  • He is so adorable!!! I’m so glad he’s feeling better and that he loves his workout! Is that Charlie under the blanket? That is the cutest picture, ever!!! xx

  • Thanks love <3 that's Baxter under the blanket. He is the burrower, although Charlie does like to be covered. 🙂

  • Lindsey ,,, I guess I didn’t explain properly. She was a dog and had developed a tumor… I think her husband will miss her more. We had them at the farm, they were our watch dogs. But it is hard to go and not find her there any more.

  • I bet she’s still at the farm, in spirit, of course. <3

  • I thought it looked like Baxter, but it’s hard in pictures! xxx

  • She was born there, and we buried her there too, It’s her home.. <3

  • That is beautiful Mary.. Then it is meant to be that she will forever watch over the farm <3

  • It can be harder to tell, especially if they’ve been groomed. Generally Baxter had a bigger, fluffier, more frou frou head. 🙂
