X marks the spot #AtoZChallenge 3

So what is going on you ask?  I know YOU are not asking, I’m being rhetorical.  I know most of you could care less about little old me over here in my little space, which I’ll affectionate dub as X marks the spot.  Cheesy, whatever, I don’t care.  I’m stuck for a word..  There hasn’t been much going on, it’s been a bit of a quiet week and I have nothing new or exciting to report.

Fck!!  Yesterday was such a frustrating day.  I worked from home and it was all because the day decided to call itself a shit show at 6:30 am.  Don’t ask.  Arguing about stupid shit and being passive aggressive doesn’t set a nice tone for the day so I threw in the towel and I decided that working from home was in order and I managed to get some errands and chores done around the house.

Last night I had my group therapy session, which, couldn’t have come at a better time.  I’ve been feeling tension building with Jeff and it’s not cool.  It doesn’t help that he’s working a ton of overtime, sometimes working 12-13 hour days.  He’s sleeping like shit, which means I’m sleeping like shit.  He wakes up at 4 am and then decides to start a conversation.  COME ON. I kinda wanted to sleep.  But I guess misery loves company?

I’ve been dreading nearing the end of this #AtoZChallenge because of the lovely letters that we have to blog about.  Like the letter X, what in the hell can I write about? A xylophone?  Unlikely, as I don’t know squat about the xylophone, so I’m not going to pretend I do.  Therefore, I leave you with the title and the play on words.

Today is day 24 of the A to Z Challenge, and if you don’t know what this challenge is that I speak of, I touched on what it was briefly here.  For complete rules, historical information and all that jazz, click here.  I know, I know, we’re almost done April so just a few more days, you guys.  Some bloggers chose a theme for the #AtoZChallenge, but I stupidly (hindsight) have chosen to wing it.  Next year if I decide to participate, I’m certainly picking a theme and scheduling posts in advance, that way I’m not feeling so bloody rushed.

Short and sweet, just how I like it.  Join me tomorrow for our #10things that made us happy link up.  Have a great Thursday afternoon! Cheers!

  • Valiant effort at X! It was a hard one 😉 I went with Xanthous (which I googled, of course). Hope you feel less stressed in the coming days, especially once the challenge wraps up!

  • It was crap, be honest! lol!
I’ve seen a few interesting X topics, I’m actually kind of impressed.

I’ll be glad once this is over for sure! I’ve connected with some great people, which in grateful for, but daily blogging is stressful. Rather, it’s stressful if you don’t plan accordingly. 🙂

Have a great weekend Hillary!! 🙂
