Dog in a sunbeam

Happy Wednesday Friends, Happy Winter Solstice & Merry Christmas!!

It’s Blog Paws Wordless Wednesday (my blog posts are not so wordless – sorry, not sorry!)!  Many of you that frequent this blog know that apart from Friday, Wednesdays are one of my favourite days of the week.  This weekly link up from the Blog Paws community is a place where we can all show off our beloved pets, as well as network with others and find some friendships in some unlikely places.

Can you guys believe that Christmas is just FOUR days away?!  I’m entering the holiday season with many mixed emotions – excitement but I’m also melancholy.  It’s beginning to look like we’ll have to take Christmas into the hospital for my mother in law.  Her doctors are at odds with her treatment right now.  They’re contemplating vertebroplasty, which is injecting cement into her spine to stabilize the FIVE vertebrae fractures she has.  She is in obvious amounts of pain that they’re having a hard time getting a hold of… So if we have to take Christmas to her, that’s totally fine with us.  It doesn’t matter the where, it just matters that we celebrate together.

  • Charlie sure does look happy in that sun puddle. Sending all good thoughts for your Mother-in-Law. That course of treatment sounds so rough, and I hope it goes well and she srarts improving and feeling better.

The card is beautiful!!!!!! Merry Christmas my friend – from our house to yours!

  • We think Charlie must’ve been a cat in a previous life to love sunbeams as much as he does. 🙂
My mother in law is home and happy to have been here for Christmas Day. She’s exhausted though but happy. She’s waiting now for a call from two hospitals to see which one will open up first for the treatment. Now we wait… it’s just terrible watching her suffer.

  • Thank you so much for the kind words. I hope you had a really lovely and relaxing holiday. 🙂

  • Thank you darlin. I hope you had a wonderful day with the family and fur kids. Merry Christmas love! xoxox
