Three things – September 10

I don’t think that I’ve posted any Three Things related posts, but I’ve certainly seen Steph draft these posts on numerous occasions and they look fun, so I thought why not.  Here we go. Thanks for the idea, Steph. πŸ™‚

Three experiences I recommend:

  • Scuba diving.  It’s like nothing else you’ve ever experienced.
  • The gift of traveling.
  • Falling in love and finding your mate.

Three pieces of advice for everyone:

  • Be kind and compassionate no matter what.
  • Rise above.
  • Never, ever let someone tell you your worth.

Three things I’d give up in a second:

  • Commuting two hours a day to and from work.
  • Anything for my family and close friends.
  • Anything for my dogs.

Three things that are always in my fridge:

  • Lettuce
  • Bacon
  • Eggs

Three things that are always in my freezer:

  • Bacon
  • Chicken
  • Ground beef or pork

Three things that are always in my pantry:

  • Pasta sauce
  • Perrier
  • Aluminum foil (yeah, weird one, I know.)

Three most often used makeup products:

  • Brow Zings
  • Eyeliner
  • Mascara

Three things I’ll spend money on:

  • Lululemon. It’s expensive but I’ve been wearing their shit for well over a decade now and it lasts if you take care of it.
  • Running shoes.
  • Aluminum foil. Cheap shit is garbage and is like tissue paper. lol

Three things I won’t spend money on:

  • Cable <— I’m with Steph on this one. We haven’t had cable in I think 4 years now.
  • Magazines
  • Sunglasses. I lose or scratch sunglasses a lot so I usually just get $50 pairs. Anything more expensive than that would make me cry if I lost them.

    I see you are a carnivore. I like πŸ™‚

Also: Yes, to giving up long commutes, spending money on running shoes and mascara.

  • The advice is brilliant.
Agree with spending on running shoes and not on magazines πŸ™‚

  • Oh love this! What a fun list of things! I am with you on the cable. It’s so silly with Netflix and everything else you can get for relatively little $$.

Also LULULEMON! Yes! I hate that their clothing is so expensive but I’m wearing their pants now and they are so damn comfy and they really do last forever. I will say I rarely wear their pants to work out in though, because hand washing them is a pain; but their tops are amazing for gym.

What are brow zings?! Where have I been!!??

  • Cathy C Bennett

OMDoodle – There’s no wine on your list girlfriend LOL What’s up with that? But I can relate to the “bacon” – love my pork!

  • I am! πŸ™‚ Id love to be a vegetarian but yeah….
I’d give up my commute for a pay cut if the price was right any day of the week. πŸ™‚

  • I used to love reading magazines but they’re such a waste!

  • Girl, you do NOT have to hand wash lululemon I can assure you. Just don’t dry it that’s all. πŸ™‚ I would not fair well with all my lulu gear and hand washing all that shit every day/week.

Brow Zings is a Benefit eyebrow filler thing. It’s not cheap but it works (for me) and it lasts a long time, too. I have blond/sparse eyebrows so they’re perfect for what I need. πŸ™‚

  • Your comment made me chuckle. LOL!

  • uhm. well, that’s a total game changer! LOL.. someone once mentioned having to hand wash everything so i was like, “welp, looks like i’m never wearing these clothes to the gym.” πŸ™‚ Hope you had a great weekend, love!

  • I might’ve been that way 10+ years ago, but certainly is not the case. Of course, be careful of more delicate things if you’ve got mesh in the tights or what not.
    Wash away, my friend! πŸ™‚
Weekend was good and plenty of sunshine, I can’t complain. I hope yours was good, too. πŸ™‚ xo
