Hello friends! Today I am going to share with you our 2017 Christmas cards.
Every year, I always say that I’m going to get my act together and send out cards early, but that never seems to be the case and I’m always left so pressed for time. For the last two years, I’ve contemplated just scrapping the cards altogether but I’m really glad that I’ve stuck with it them and frankly, I’d miss not adding another card to my bulletin board at work, another year of the pups gracing the front of our cards. Shutterfly is my go-to for when I want to print any pictures and make any photo gifts. Always has been and always will be. You see, I’m a creature of habit. I’m of the motto, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” And with that motto in mind, I’ve no reason to ever leave Shutterfly and why you might ask? Because the options are endless and you can literally create anything your little heart desires. Their unique and memorable gifts continue to shine and the quality is exceptional.
Obviously by now, you’ll know that for this Christmas as well, we’ve chosen to do our Christmas Holiday cards with Shutterfly, it seemed like a no-brainer. They never disappoint with their selection (which grows every year). Last year, we went with the metallic foil-stamped cards and I was figuring we’d likely go the same route this time around since we liked the cards so much from last year. If you’ve never checked out the Shutterfly website, you must — all of the options (foil-stamped cards, glitter cards, pop-out cards, etc.) you have at your finger tips incredible and Shutterfly is truly a one-stop shop for all photo related gifts and cards.
Our 2017 Christmas Card Reveal
Here’s the thing, sponsored or not, I’ll tell you how it is. I’ve mentioned time and again that I’m a huge fan of Shutterfly and I truly have had zero complaints or issues with them, whether it’s the easy-to-use website, receiving the items or their exceptional customer service, you can’t beat Shutterfly.
A bit of a back story, I used to subscribe to Kodak Gallery for years and years, back since the early 2000s (what!!!) but then they ended up acquired in 2012 and I, along with 70 million other subscribers, had the option to transfer all of my photos and accounts to Shutterfly. I couldn’t risk losing all of my precious photos and memories from the years so I moved on over to Shutterfly and I’ve never looked back.
So when the opportunity to work with Shutterfly presented itself again, I was elated and couldn’t say YES fast enough. I’m happy to have had the opportunity to share with you guys just one of their beautiful Christmas cards and let’s be honest, to show off my adorable fluffballs. Any opportunity to show off my four-legged kids. 🙂
The one thing I’d change going forward and that’s providing return address labels. Last year I was sent labels and it was so nice, I didn’t have to do much other than slap a sticker on the envelope and I was ready to go. This year I didn’t see that as an option but no biggie, I made due. I have popped all cards in the mail except those I’m hand delivering and I must say, it’s nice to have gotten the cards done and out and ON TIME! (I hope at least, lol.) Getting started couldn’t be any easier: create an account, browse the selection of gifts you can make, upload your photos (or use existing photos that you’ve already uploaded into albums in Shutterfly), make some fine tune adjustments to your liking and voila – your items are on their way to you. One thing us Canadians will telling anything here is a pain in the you know what, but this time around, I got my Christmas cards within 6-7 business days and I was thinking they would be arriving after Christmas, so you can imagine that when I opened up my mailbox over a week ago that I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that lovely orange box that is Shutterfly.
Shutterfly is always affordable and it always arrives in a reasonable amount of time, unbent or broken (which is always great thing!). One thing I will warn you about when visiting the Shutterfly website – be prepared to fall into a rabbit hole, I’m not even joking. There are so many fun projects you could delve into and make for yourself or family and friends. So sit back with your coffee, browse away and create something beautiful and meaningful to you and for your family and friends, too!
There may not be any time left to make your Holiday cards, but they have a huge selection of others that I definitely recommend you check out. Head on over to Shutterfly to make your own right now!
A HUGE thank you goes out to Shutterfly for this really fun, awesome collaboration!!
