100 Truths 1

100 Truths

From time to time, I get tagged in fun posts that share some fun answers on an array of topics and questions.  100 Truths just happens to be one of them.  Thanks goes out to Britt from Alternatively Speaking for the tag– You can view her post with all of her fun answers here.

This tag was originally created by Debbie at My Random Musings and was designed to include a mix of different topics, opinions, and random facts, spanning a number of different subjects. Those who do it will sometimes skip some of the questions if they aren’t interested in answering them, and that’s cool too! It’s all about getting to know each of you a little better.

So let’s do this, shall we?  Grab yourself a cup of coffee or something, it’s going to be a long one.

No, they are called an ex for a reason.

26 – Have you ever been cheated on?

Yes, but that was wayyyyy back in the day when I was young and foolish and not really in a committed relationship.

28 – Have you ever lost someone special to you?

Yes, absolutely.

I’ve met many people who’s shaped or changed my life, yes.

32 – Have you ever been in a situation where you found out who your real friends are?

Yep and it hasn’t been pretty.  Sometimes walking away from people is the best thing.  That or sometimes certain friendships have expiration dates, as in they are meant to teach you something but they aren’t meant to last.  That has happened quite a bit in the last 10 years.

Haven’t we all?  I personally believe nothing is a mistake but rather a learning experience.

42 – Have you ever had a threesome?

43 – Have you ever embarrassed yourself in public?

More times I can count.  LOL

44 – Have you ever misjudged someone?

Again, aren’t we all guilty of this at some point in your life?

Your Beliefs and Opinions

45 – Do you believe in God?

I believe in something but not necessarily God himself.

46 – Do you believe in yourself?

Sometimes, I do.  Sometimes, I don’t.

47 – Do you believe in Santa Claus?

I believe in the Christmas magic. 🙂

48 – Do you believe in ghosts?

49 – Do you believe in aliens?

Sure I think it’s possible but not like how the movies or comics describe these creepy characters.

50 – Do you believe in miracles?

51 – Do you believe in the power of positive thinking?

52 – Do you believe in love at first sight?

I believe in lust at first sight. <———- I’m agreeing with Britt on this one.

53 – Can money make you happy?

I think money can afford you a hell of a lot more freedom and opportunity, but happiness? That comes from within.

54 – Would you describe yourself as a feminist?

I believe in equality for all.

55 – Are you pro-life or pro-choice?

56 – Do you have strong political beliefs?

I guess I’d consider myself moderate? All I know is that I can’t publicly state my political opinions because of my employer so I’m usually pretty mum on the topic. God forbid if and how anything is perceived.

57 – Do you have strong religious beliefs?

No, they’re actually quite liberal.

58 – What do you think the most important thing you can give a child is?

Love, trust, honesty, compassion, knowledge. I could think of a hundred more things and they’re all as equally important for children.

Right Now

59 – Are you eating anything right now?

60 – Are you drinking anything right now?

61 – What are you listening to right now?

Charlie Puth – Attention

62 – What are you thinking about right now?

Unwinding from work.

63 – What are you waiting for right now?

To get back to town where I live (an hour’s train ride from Toronto).

64 – What are you most excited about right now?

Spending two weeks in Barbados this July.

65 – What’s your pet hate right now?

Liars, people that pretend to be someone or something they’re not, bloggers that shamelessly steal other people’s photos (ever image search on google? I have and I’ve even emailed image creators to tell them their shit is being used by others), and one last thing: people doling our advice they are absolutely unqualified to give or have no business giving.

66 – What’s your favourite thing right now?

My new Lululemon Scuba hoodie. I haven’t bought a new one in over ten years, which is just as well since they cost a small fortune. Lol!

67 – If you weren’t answering these questions, what would you be doing right now?

Reading blog posts and responding to comments. Thanks for the distraction. Lol!

68 – Your first best friend?

69 – Your first kiss?

If I recall correctly, it was to the dude I lost my virginity to, I think? Lol! Good lord that’s a long time ago. Can I use that as my excuse as to why I don’t remember?

70 – Your first celebrity crush?

I’m gonna go with JTT – who remembers Jonathan Taylor Thomas? I loved that kid. Lol!

71 – Your first holiday?

My first holiday that I remember? Or my actual first holiday? My first holiday that I remember is going Jamaica with my mom after my dad died. Mom got so sick and here I was, this little gaffer, and I was taking care of momma. All I have to say is that I’m glad my mom had her stroke and cerebral aneurysm before she had me and before my dad died. I wouldn’t have known what the hell to do.

72 – Your first pet?

A tuxedo dwarf rabbit named Robin.

73 – Your first regret?

I like to say that I have zero regrets. Sure I’ve made mistakes but they’ve all been learning experiences.

74 – Your first job?

I worked at a shoe store (Aldo) when I was 14 or 15. That just expanded my shoe obsession.

75 – Your first childhood memory?

Sometimes I feel like I can recall time with my dad before he died, but I’m not even sure if that’s my memory or my recollection from photos I’ve seen. I distinctly remember Halloween 6 days before he died and 11 days before my third birthday. The nurses were all so kind to me and brought me a massive bowl of candy because here I was, in the hospital, watching my father die before our eyes.

Which Would You Choose?

Summer, I’m a friggin reptile.

87 – Books or movies?

Both please.

88 – Horror or comedy?
