Charlie Update – Two Week Post-Op Update 1   Recently updated !

It’s high time for a Charlie update, am I right?!  Time is flying you guys and in the case of Charlie’s recovery, that is good news!  He’s healing super quickly and we couldn’t be happier where he’s at.  Here he is at 14 and 15 days post-op — doesn’t he look incredible?  His stitches came out on Monday morning and he will be going back on August 9th for a consultation with his surgeon and it is at this time that we’ll get the all-clear to begin rehab and hydrotherapy.  Charlie and his pal, Lily (front). Charlie CCL 2017

Here we go Again 23

Almost two years ago exactly, Charlie was having surgery to repair a torn CCL in his left hind knee.  Well, you guessed it – we are in the same boat, my friends.  Charlie has injured his back right leg and it looks exactly like it did when he tore his ligament two years ago. Charlie turns 10! 13

Our little man Charlie turns 10 years old today! So without further ado, we hope you have the happiest of birthdays, my boy — we hope you have a hundred more of them so that […]

2016 Royal Canin Dog Show 10

2016 Royal Canin Dog Show This past weekend, my husband, Mom and I attended our first dog show. As in the kind you see on tv (think Westminster, but not quite on that scale of grandiose).  The variety of breeds, from tiny to giant and pocket dogs all the way up to over 200 pound mark (mastiff), it was truly a feast for my eyes. As you can imagine, I did not stop smiling for one single second. Can you guess how long we were there? Six and a half hours!! Just call me the crazy dog lady from now […]
