Charlie Update 13

So we are now on day 3 post-surgery for Charlie. He had his much-anticipated surgery on Tuesday morning with his orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Isakow. Now knowing his schedule, we are very lucky and blessed to have had him make the time to see Charlie and perform his operation.  His surgeon and his wife sold the business a couple of years ago and now, as a result, he doesn’t practice much and only comes in once a month.  We are super grateful for him and the work he did on Charlie.  The best though: my mom dropped Charlie off on Tuesday […]

You know you’re a dog mom (or dog dad) when: You sacrifice your own comfort for theirs.  Be it on the couch, in bed, camping, you name it.  I’ll let them be comfortable over my own simply because I love them.    You find dog poop bags in every crevice, every pocket and every nook and cranny.  And it never seems to phase you when you pull one out in public.  You just shove it back into the pocket it came from and carry on with your day. Here we go Again 23

Almost two years ago exactly, Charlie was having surgery to repair a torn CCL in his left hind knee.  Well, you guessed it – we are in the same boat, my friends.  Charlie has injured his back right leg and it looks exactly like it did when he tore his ligament two years ago.
